Premium wait-time for premium customers?
I've been a TataSky DTH subscriber for 6+ years now. While my experience with TataSky has been overwhelmingly positive, last weekend, I had an experience that amused me considerably.
I'd scheduled a pay-and-view movie via my mobile. Since TataSky, does not confirm successful scheduling of a movie via a text message, I decided to call the TataSky call center to confirm.
The call center agent picked up my call within 30 seconds, looked up my details, and announced that I was a TataSky Premium Subscriber and that my request would be handled by the “premium customers” desk. He put me on hold to transfer me to the premium customer handling agent. I had to hold for nearly 3 minutes before the “premium” agent came on line and announced that my movie had been “successfully provisioned”.
While TataSky's idea of providing exclusive service to “premium customers” is commendable, the premium wait-time has the potential to frustrate premium customers!
